Jeremy finds no greater professional gratification than that which comes from the trust and confidence of his clients. Whether advising families about how to craft an estate plan to ensure that their hard-earned family nest egg will be protected and their children will be cared for in a worst case scenario; assisting clients who have recently suffered the loss of a loved one navigate the complex world of estate administration (probate) and/or trust administration, or providing legal representation to clients on civil matters, real estate law, business law, employment law, or guardianship issues, or contested estate issues, Jeremy understands his clients’ desire for guidance in unfamiliar legal territory. Jeremy prides himself on breaking down complex legal principles into “non-legalese” so that his clients feel a complete understanding of the issues which they are confronting.
Jeremy has consistently been recognized as one of the finest attorneys in the State of Maryland. He has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Maryland Super Lawyer’s Magazine and Baltimore Magazine each year since 2014. This peer-selected recognition is reserved for the top 5% of lawyers in the State of Maryland. Jeremy is frequently called upon to teach to lawyers and accountants at continuing education seminars.
In 2019, in recognition of his extraordinary commitment to leadership in the legal profession, the Maryland Daily Record awarded Jeremy the prestigious Leadership in Law Award. Jeremy was one of only 25 attorneys amongst the thousands of attorneys in the State of Maryland to receive this honor.
Jeremy began his legal career by serving as law clerk to The Honorable John W. Debelius, III, of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, for the 2006-2007 term.
Jeremy is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Maryland, was born and raised in Silver Spring, attended Richard Montgomery High School, and presently lives with his wife and daughter in Brookeville. When not in the office, Jeremy is likely found at Xfinity Center at the University of Maryland, cheering on his beloved Terps.
