New Faces, Same Mission
In 2005, the firm doubled down on its personal injury practice by becoming associated with Bruce Blaylock and The Law Office of Bruce A. Blaylock.
In 2007, Meg Rosan joined the firm as an associate, fresh from a judicial clerkship. She has practiced exclusively at the firm and now leads its family law and mediation practices.
To accommodate Alan Feld and Larry Bulman’s pending retirement, Dan Shaivitz came aboard in 2013. He had spent several years at another Montgomery County law firm and now leads our personal injury practice.
In 2018, Jeremy Rachlin arrived after a decade-plus of practice at other Montgomery County law firms. His joining accommodated Barry Nudelman’s pending retirement. Jeremy now leads the firm’s estate and trust practice.
Meg, Dan, and Jeremy are proud to be the third generation of owners of a law practice with a distinguished history. Although the faces at this firm are different, they adhere to the same mission of the practice’s founders: to be attorneys of unquestionable ethical character and pillars of the local legal community.
While we take our work and clients seriously, holding true to the firm culture at Bulman Dunie is equally important to Meg, Dan, and Jeremy. We insist that our law firm be a warm and happy place to work, and prioritize congenial relationships with our colleagues in the bar.
While our history is rich, one thing remains constant: every client receives focused attention. Whether it’s a divorce, an accident claim, or an estate plan that needs to be formed, we work with our clients to tailor an approach consistent with their goals.
What Can You Expect When You Meet with Bulman Dunie?
We understand that many clients have never worked with an attorney before and could be nervous about what to expect.
During this meeting, we want you to tell us your story in as much detail as possible. This way, we’ll get a solid understanding of what you need, whether it’s compensation for serious injuries, a property division/marital assets strategy for a challenging divorce, or establishing a trust plan.
We want you to feel confident that you have the knowledge and the support you need, so we encourage you to ask us as many questions as you’d like. These may include:
- How much experience do you have in your law practice?
- Have you handled cases like mine before?
- How long does a case like mine usually take to resolve?
- What are some of the challenges in a legal matter like mine?
- How many cases have you argued before a jury?
- How will you investigate my case?
- How often will you be available to talk to me as my case proceeds?
- How likely am I to achieve my goals?
- How does the attorney-client relationship work?
