December 2024 and January 2025 have seen BDBF attorneys recognized on many “best of lists” in several prominent publications as amongst the tops in the region in our practice areas.
- Partner Meg Rosan was recognized by 2025 Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine as a Top 50 Female Attorney in the State of Maryland (and a Top 100 overall) and was recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in the field of Family Law.
- Partner Jeremy Rachlin was recognized by 2025 Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine as a Top 100 Attorney in the State of Maryland and was recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in the field of Estate Planning and Probate. Jeremy was also recognized in the December 2024 edition of Washingtonian Magazine on their 2024 list of top attorneys in the District, Maryland, and Virginia, in the field of Trusts and Estates.
- Partner Daniel Shaivitz was recognized by 2025 Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Super Lawyer” in the field of Plaintiff’s Personal Injury. Dan was also recognized by the January 2025 edition of Bethesda Magazine, having been voted by readers in “Best of Bethesda” as the best personal injury attorney in Montgomery County. BDBF actually swept this category, as Partner Bruce Blaylock was the other finalist!
- Associate Liz Farley was recognized by 2025 Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star” in the practice area of Estate Planning and Probate.
Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine selects attorneys for recognition based upon peer nominations, followed by independent vetting. “Super Lawyers” are in the top 5% of attorneys in the State of Maryland in a designated practice area. “Rising Stars” are in the top 2.5% of attorneys in the State of Maryland under age 40 in a designated practice area.
Washingtonian Magazine selects attorneys based upon peer nominations from attorneys previously recognized, asking these attorneys who you would call upon if you or a family member needed assistance in a particular practice area.
Bethesda Magazine selected its “Best of Bethesda” based upon reader votes.
