Another Super Bowl has come and gone.
With the NFL season in the rearview, and Washington’s football franchise suddenly respectable, BDBF attorneys share our favorite aspects of the Big Game:

The arbitrary excuse it provides to eat the best-tasting, worst-for-you foods.
We like to have friends over to our house to watch, and I’m always happy with the variety of snacks they bring with them. Wings, nachos, dips, sliders—I’m here for all of it.

Not being a big football fan means that my favorite thing about the Super Bowl is the food.
Whether it be buffalo chicken dip or pigs in a blanket, there is nothing better than eating way too much food before going to bed after the halftime performance.
Phil Kuljurgis
I always look forward to attending a neighborhood Super Bowl party and sampling the different snack options.
Usually, my biggest decision involves whether to watch the halftime show or go down to the basement in search of a ping pong game.

Super Bowl squares.
In a game where I loathe both teams, give me something insanely unlikely to root for. The Eagles to get a safety and drive down the field and kick a field goal in the next 90 seconds so they end the quarter with a score ending in the number 5? Why can’t it happen???
One of these days I’ll get the 0-0 square….

The best thing about the Super Bowl is the Super Bowl commercials!
Enough about the game. Give me a break in play so I can have a little chuckle.

The Puppy Bowl.
Sure, the big game brings lots of anticipation and hype. Unfortunately, the game sometimes falls flat and does not live up to the expectations. The Puppy Bowl, on the other hand, always brings its A-game. How can your heart NOT melt as adorable and cuddly puppies tackle each other and play tug of war?!
